Waiting on Wednesday (154)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I love me a good novel about faeries. This week, I'm excited for Never-Contented Things by Sarah Porter. The cover is creepy and delicious. The description doesn't give much away, but it is incredibly intriguing. This book features a messed up sibling relationship, something that isn't immediately clear from the description (I learned this from a review). I definitely recommend reading reviews before digging into this book, as it looks like it has a number of triggering topics. On the plus side, it also apparently has some awesome LGBTQ representation. I'm definitely looking forward to this, though I think I'll need to be in a good place mentally to read it.

Synopsis:

Seductive. Cruel. Bored

Be wary of…

Prince and his fairy courtiers are staggeringly beautiful, unrelentingly cruel, and exhausted by the tedium of the centuries―until they meet foster-siblings Josh and Ksenia. Drawn in by their vivid emotions, undying love for each other, and passion for life, Prince will stop at nothing to possess them.

First seduced and then entrapped by the fairies, Josh and Ksenia learn that the fairies' otherworldly gifts come at a terrible price―and they must risk everything in order to reclaim their freedom.

Release: March 19, 2019
