Some Royal Books for a Royal Wedding

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few days, you know that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married today. In honor of the occasion, I thought I'd share some awesome books with royals or a royalty theme.

Royals by Rachel Hawkins - Her older sister is marrying the crown prince of Scotland. It doesn't get more Royal than that!

All That Glows by Ryan Graudin - Emrys is a faery sent to guard the British crown prince. He's a bit wild and of course they fall in love!

Long May She Reign by Rhiannon Thomas - A scientist who is 23rd in line for the throne finally finds herself as queen when the rest of the people in line get killed at a deadly banquet.

Royal Bastards by Andrew Shvarts - In Royal Bastards, all the main characters are bastard children of the nobility. When a visiting princess joins them at the bastards table, things get crazy fast!

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard - Mare Barrow lives in a world divided by the color of your blood. Silvers with magical abilities rule the world with an iron fist. Red bloods (like Mare) are forced to toil away or die. When Mare develops her own abilities, her entire world is turned upside down.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas - Teenage assassin Celaena Sardothien is freed from enslavement only to have to act as champion for the crown prince, son of the king she hates. While at the palace, she befriends a princess from a country also oppressed by the king.

The Pledge by Kimberly Derting - In Ludania, you may only speak the language of your class. But Charlaina has a secret. She can understand all languages. But everything changes when she overhears a conversation in a language she isn't supposed to understand.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer - In this retelling of the classic tale Cinderella, Cinder is a cyborg mechanic who is hired to fix Prince Kai's robot. It doesn't take long for sparks to fly.
