Top Ten Book Titles That Would Make Good Song Names

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and The Artsy Reader Girl.

1. Lies Like Poison by Chelsea Pitcher - This would probably be a break up song after the singer was cheated on

2. Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton - A song with this name should have some sapphic pining

3. Hourglass by Myra McEntire - I feel like this would be a song about feeling like you're running out of time

4. Take a Bow by Elizabeth Eulberg - This would be an upbeat song about how awesome you are

5. Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins - Much like the book, the singer would be be in love with someone who they know is dangerous/not good for them

6. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - This actually is a song title, but my imaginary song would be about someone who feels like they're losing their mind/falling apart

7. Phoenix by Elizabeth Richards - This song would be about rising up from the ashes and overcoming something difficult

8. The Distance Between Us by Kasie West - Maybe the singer has a crush on someone, or they're dating but there is an emotional distance, whatever it is, they need to overcome something in order to be together

9. Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins - This would be a country song, maybe by Kacey Musgraves, about how the singer doesn't fit in with southern societal expectations and what she does about it

10. The Lovely Reckless by Kami Garcia - I think this would be a love song about someone who's taking a chance on love, and they aren't sure if it'll work out

I actually really liked doing this, so I might do more on Twitter in the future. What book titles do you think would make good songs?
