Top Ten Books I Hated But Am Glad I Read

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and The Artsy Reader Girl. In general, I don't appreciate books I hate. I can not like a book easily enough, but it takes a lot for me to hate a book. But that said, I'll mention books I hated but can at least have bragging rights for.

1. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

2. Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

3. Lord of the Flies by William Golding - extra bleh

4. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

5. The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis - I loved all the other Narnia books though

6. Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell - literally nothing happens

7. The Giver by Lois Lowry - I actually liked the movie more *hangs head in shame*

8. The Awakening by Kate Chopin

9. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

10. A Single Shard by Linda Sue Park
