Waiting on Wednesday (148)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I am excited for A Question of Holmes by Brittany Cavallaro. I haven't actually read book three in the series yet, but it's high up on my TBR. I loved the first two books in the series, so I'm excited to continue reading it. I love Charlotte and Jaime, and I just want them to be safe and happy. Charlotte especially has so much baggage, and I hope she gets the peace and therapy she needs. At the end of book two, Jaime and Charlotte aren't in a good place in their relationship. Hopefully that mends in book three so that they can be back to their adventuring selves for A Question of Holmes!

Synopsis:

Charlotte Holmes and Jamie Watson think they’re finally in the clear. They’ve left Sherringford School—and the Moriartys—behind for a pre-college summer program at Oxford University. A chance to start from scratch and explore dating for the first time, while exploring a new city with all the freedom their program provides. But when they arrive, Charlotte is immediately drawn into a new case: a series of accidents have been befalling the members of the community theater troupe in Oxford, and now, on the eve of their production of Hamlet, they’re starting all over again. What once seemed like a comedy of errors is now a race to prevent the next tragedy—before Charlotte or Jamie is the next victim.

Release: March 5, 2019
